Frequently Asked Questions:
How is the Chin, Cheeks and Jawline treatment done?2022-03-01T21:01:40+00:00

Here at Paige Emilee Aesthetics, we use a wide variety of techniques in clinic that have been learnt over the years with leading aesthetic clinicians. These techniques will all be in the best interests of the client to create their desired look. Paige will utilise her knowledge and expertise in specifying and carrying out the injection technique that is suitable to give the client optimum results. All of these injection techniques will be discussed with the client prior to treatment.

How long does the Chin, Cheek and Jawline treatment take?2022-03-01T20:49:18+00:00

The treatment time is all dependent if you opt in for a package or not. A simple cheek, or chin or jaw augmentation alone will take around 30 minutes. However, if we have put together a bespoke package to tailor your desired look, then this will impact on your appointment time, as there are more areas to focus on. As stated previously, here at Paige Emilee Aesthetics we strive to educate our clients on their treatment, that’s why we take our time to go through a detailed medical history, and discuss the risks and complications that come with facial contouring, and how as a medical practitioner Paige minimises these as much as she can.  A consent form must be filled out, and any questions that you may have will be answered prior to your treatment. We would love to take some before and after pictures for our website and instagram content but only as long as you consent to this!

How long does Chin, Cheek and Jawline filler last?2022-03-01T21:06:47+00:00

The filler used for this treatment is a firmer product to reduce movement and project volume, therefore has a higher viscosity meaning it will last longer. This treatment should last approximately 12-18 months, however does depend on the individual and lifestyle.

What are the side affects and risks of cheek, chin and jawline filler?2022-03-01T20:59:47+00:00

Unfortunately all non-surgical treatments carry risks and side affects, however Paige has undergone intense training on how to treat any of these problems in the unlikely event that they arise. This is why it is paramount that this kind of treatment is undergone by someone like Paige, who has detailed knowledge on the anatomy of face and safety maneuvers so that these risks are minimized as much as possible. There are common side affects usually lasting up to a maximum of 14 days, and some that are not so common.

COMMON:

  • Tenderness
  • Swelling
  • Bruising

UNCOMMON:

  • Allergic reaction
  • Vascular occlusion: when the dermal filler is accidentally injected directly into a blood vessel causing a blockage in blood flow and potentially leading to tissue necrosis and blindness.
  • Lumps
  • Product migration
  • Infection
